About
Dr Ilonka Meyer is a Pain Specialist who completed her medical training at the University of Pretoria in South Africa before completing her Pain Fellowships at Peter McCallum Cancer Centre, Austin Health, and The Royal Children’s Hospital in Australia. She became a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2018. Ilonka is currently the Acting Director of the Pain Service at the Austin Hospital and the founder and clinical director of Mind-Body Pain Specialists. She is passionate about expanding access to evidence-based integrated pain services in the community and providing high quality, holistic patient care.
